The state capital is Bangkok. The word Thai (ไทย) means „free” in the Thai language. Thailand is called the Land of Smiles quite simply because of the smiles you see on everybody’s faces.

Beautiful photographs. Thailand is really pretty and your second photo especially of the boat is magnificent. Funny seeing all the monkeys on the beach though, never really seen that before.
I love Thailand esp. Maya Beach and Vikings Cave. Your photos got me back to the place. I really can’t decide which postcard is best because I loved all of them.
